Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Tis’ the season for pumpkin everything! Here is something to help satisfy your pumpkin craving without unnecessary chemicals or coloring. It’s been hitting the spot for me each morning this past week!

 

I don’t usually measure things out exactly so the spices and vanilla extract are estimates.

 

Ingredients:pumpkin pie2

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk (full fat or light)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Dollop of raw honey
  • 1-2 pitted dates
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Directions:

Throw everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Add a handful of ice and blend again. Serve right away or refrigerate overnight.
