5 Things That Inspired Me This Week 7/24/15

Oatmeal

oats

Not the most exciting thing… and this one is isn’t anything new, but it is soo good. 1/2 cup oats, spoonful of peanut or almond butter, spoonful of ground flax or chia seeds (good fats + fiber!), and a sliced banana on top. I love the good fat and protein to start the day. Even when it’s 90 degrees out, it is still comforting to me!

Being Forced To Do Chin-ups

I’ve been struggling pushing myself in my workouts lately so I enlisted the help of a new-to-me studio. At my first class, most of the workout incorporated exercises that I do on my own and love — but it also included heavier weights and CHIN-UPS. Something I rarely, if ever, do on my own because I find them frustrating. This is exactly what I need right now — a little kick in the rear to get me in gear :) I am excited to indulge in a class a week for the next 10 weeks at this studio.

Wintergreen Essential Oil

Necessary for the above workout recovery! Pain is gone within minutes and my range of motion returns. This is the first time I’ve used wintergreen for sore muscles and it WERKS.

This Motto

Thank you @iamwellstudio, I could not agree more. Pay attention to the quality and variety of ingredients you are putting into your body and it will do you so much good.

My Clients

A few weeks ago I started with my oldest client yet — an 89 year old man, going on 50. He is such an inspiration. With his positive mindset and healthful outlook, we could all learn something from him. Another client just doubled her wall sit time, improved in all areas of endurance, and has lost 2 inches in her waist, 3 in her abdomen and 1 in her hips. Needless to say, my clients make me so proud!
