Client Feature: Candace
Candace and I started training together back in August and I love the level of commitment she puts forth. Working full-time (on nights, nonetheless) and being a full-time student, she has a jam-packed schedule, but still devotes time to her health. Candace makes me so proud and is making both mental and physical strides each week.
Favorite fitness activities: kickboxing, yoga and dancing
Favorite strength exercise(s): anything with a funny name and NOT burpees
Favorite stress relief activity: listening to music
Top fitness goal: to touch her toes
Candace’s side of the story:
I am someone who suffers from severe depression, anxiety, and self-esteem issues; let me tell you how amazing Ashley has been for me. She not only helps me with my physical health and pushes me to reach my limit and go beyond it, but she cares about me as a whole. I am beyond blessed to have her in my life. I decided that after a suicide attempt last year that I was going to make some changes in my life. Personal training was one of them. I wanted to be healthy and to challenge myself to fight back against all the negativity in my head. With Ashley’s help, encouragement, and compassion I am finally able to feel a sense of accomplishment. I am a survivor, and slowly but surely I’m gaining the strength to stand on my feet again thanks to Ashley and all of her support.
